The Incredible Hurricane Wedding Reception!Irene may have blown through the Washington DC area, but we at the Thomas Birkby House soldiered on! The bride and groom were both pilots so I created this airplane cake as a surprise for the groom. The bride's cake was white on white with white orchids. The beautiful bride poses in front of the airplane cake, chocolate fudge with a raspberry filling. They had a blast cutting into it, taking a bite out of the cockpit crew!
